Our Afghanistan Support Fundraiser was an internationally minded effort led by Elyes Ellouz. In this, we raised $575 that was split between two channels. The first being $275 to the efforts of Veteran's in Media & Entertainment's private charter mission to safely get targeted individuals out of Afghanistan as it fell under Taliban rule. The remaining $300 went towards an Afghan family of five in which we are directly linked with as they resettled in the United States of America.
Led by Bashir Khalil and William Gragg the Tackle Hunger fundraiser was run in collaboration with Lee's Summit West High School and Lee's Summit Social Services. Golden bead necklaces were sold at the gate of Lee's Summit West's football game raising $144 to help the campaign aiming to eliminate hunger in the Kansas City area.
Led by Max Roberts and Elyes Ellouz a charity basketball tournament held in Olathe, Kansas. Bringing together 8 teams and 51 players from various backgrounds across the area to raise $500 to aid refugees.
Led by William Gragg and Bashir Khalil a charity spikeball tournament was held at Lee's Summit West High School in collaboration with their National Honor Society. $150 was raised for the 15 and The Mahomies Foundation, which strives to improve the lives of children.
Led by Max Roberts a charity soccer match was held at Olathe West High School on January 24th, 2021-raising $410 to facilitate a fund for families in need at the newly built Olathe West High School.
